Use and care of the vibrator
NOTE: This instruction applies to all sex toys that have a vibrating mechanism.
A vibrator is a great and desirable sex toy for many women, whether for solo or couple love games. Well, in order for your beloved toy to last a long time, you need to take care of it and properly maintain it. How? You will find out after reading some of our tips!
Where to start?
After buying a vibrator, make sure that there are no cracks or other mechanical damage on it. Put new batteries in the vibrator and check if it works. If the vibrator comes with an instruction manual, read it carefully and follow its recommendations. If you are not sure how to insert the batteries or how to use the vibrator, please contact us.
Which lubricant to choose?
We recommend using each vibrator with a lubricant - this way you will avoid possible injuries and unpleasant friction, a feeling of dryness that prevents you from enjoying the toy's company. Properly selected lubricant will help the vibrator to last longer and give you even more hot, pleasant moments using the sex toy. When choosing a lubricant, it is important to know a few simple rules:- Only water-based lubricants are suitable for vibrators made of silicone. Silicone-based lubricants damage the surface of silicone toys, so they are strictly not recommended.
- Currently, sex toys made of Nature Skin material are extremely popular - their texture is very similar to natural human skin. If you have purchased such a vibrator, also use a water-based lubricant - you will ensure a longer service life of the toy.
- For vibrators made of ABS, PVC, TPR, TPE, you can use both water-based and silicone-based lubricants.
How to use a vibrator?
- Vibrators, like any other electrical item, need to be protected - even in the heat of passion, take care not to accidentally hit the vibrator too hard. It is not recommended to throw the vibrator - it may break, and if it is made of plastic, it may crack.
- Do not scratch the surface of the vibrator - it may become unusable.
- If the vibrator is charged via USB, we recommend leaving it to charge overnight before first use.
- If you use the vibrator not only for vaginal but also for anal pleasures, we recommend using a condom on the vibrator - replace it with another when moving from vaginal to anal caresses. This is the easiest way to prevent infections and bacteria from entering the vagina.
- Also, this method of protection against infections will be useful if you share a vibrator with your partner - put a condom on the vibrator and replace it with another one after each use.
- Solo sex in the bath or shower - You can only use vibrators that are completely waterproof in the bath/shower, so make sure they are waterproof before buying a toy. Before submerging the vibrator in water, make sure it is fully waterproof or only splashproof. Splash-proof vibrators must not be immersed in water.
- Clean the vibrator immediately after use - don't put it off for later or the next day!
- Remove the batteries from the vibrator after use - you will avoid discharge and leakage, as well as those cases when the vibrator turns on when not in use. In addition, batteries contain harmful substances that harm sex toys. The batteries must be removed if the vibrator is not to be used for a long period of time.
How to clean a vibrator?
- Before and after each use, clean the vibrator thoroughly with a special sex toy cleaner or wash the toy with warm (not hot!) soapy water - antibacterial soap works best in this case.
- When washing the vibrator with water, do not under any circumstances submerge the plug containing the batteries! Hold the vibrator horizontally and wash it only up to the plug.
- Even if the vibrator is waterproof, it can only be carefully washed under water after the plug is tightly closed.
- After washing the vibrator with soapy water, dry it thoroughly with a soft, absorbent towel.
- Only after making sure that the vibrator is completely dry, put it in the storage place.
- If you disinfect the vibrator with a special toy cleaner, also let it dry completely and only then put it in the storage place.
How to store the vibrator?
- Always store the vibrator separately from other sex toys (each sex toy must be stored separately). The silicone vibrator cannot be stored with other silicone toys, as they will gradually lose their shape and become unusable.
- It is best to store the vibrator in a soft, cotton bag or wrapped in a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Before storing the vibrator, make sure the toy is completely dry to avoid possible mildew or mold on the vibrator.
- Store the vibrator in a dry, dark, cool place away from direct sunlight. Do not store the vibrator in damp areas, such as the bathroom. Heat is harmful to the vibrator - it can dry out, melt or fade the toy. Low air temperature is also not recommended.
